AniTrack mostra annunci tramite Google AdMob.
GDPR), hai diritto a:
AniTrack is an Android app for tracking the anime and manga you watch or read, built and maintained by Yuri Angelo Cola, an independent developer based in Italy. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Using AniTrack requires an account. Depending on how you sign up, we collect:
The anime and manga you add to your lists — title, cover, status (watching, completed, planning...), episodes/chapters seen, personal rating, favorites — are stored in Firebase Firestore, tied to your account, so they sync across your devices.
For rewards and badges, AniTrack stores in Firebase Firestore, tied to your account, the days you used the app (date only, set by the server), your count of active days, the milestones you reached and the badges you've already seen. If you set them, we also store the type of titles you want to follow (anime, manga or both) and your favorite genres, to personalize recommendations and sync them across your devices.
Theme (light/dark), language, notification settings, and the progress of the getting-started guide and what's-new notices are stored only on your device (via Android DataStore) and are never sent to us or anyone else. New-episode notifications are generated locally on your phone from your library and AniList airing times: we run no push server and send no token to third parties.
AniTrack shows ads through Google AdMob. To do so, Google collects and processes — under its own privacy policy, not ours — data such as your device's advertising identifier, an approximate IP-based location (also used to determine whether your consent is required), and your interactions with ads. Before any ad is requested, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) if you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland — see section 5.
Information about anime and manga (titles, covers, episodes, airing times) comes from the public AniList API. Your searches and the IDs of the titles in your library (used to show the release calendar and images) are sent to AniList to return results, but do not include data that personally identifies you.
AniList import (optional). If you choose to import your lists, the app asks for your AniList username and sends it to AniList, only to read your profile's public lists. No AniList login or password is needed. We do not store your AniList username: imported titles are only added to your library, which follows the rules described above.
AniTrack does not use behavioral analytics or crash-reporting tools beyond what's listed above — we don't collect detailed usage data beyond what's needed to run accounts, your library, and ads.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for purposes other than the ones described here.
| Who | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) | Account, library, activity days, rewards and recommendation preferences | Authentication and data storage infrastructure |
| Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform | Advertising ID, approximate IP, consent status | Showing ads and managing GDPR consent |
| AniList | Search queries, title IDs and, only if you import your lists, your AniList username | Fetching information, airing calendar and importing your lists |
Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy: Google, AniList.
If AniTrack detects you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, it shows an IAB TCF-compliant consent form the first time you open the app, letting you choose personalized ads, non-personalized ads only, or none. Until you respond (or if the form fails to load), no ad request is made at all.
You can change your mind at any time from Settings → Privacy → Manage ad consent inside the app.
If you're in the European Union, the UK, or a country with equivalent privacy laws (e.g. GDPR), you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the address at the bottom of this page.
We keep your account and library data for as long as your account stays active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (including your anime/manga library) in two ways:
Either way, this action is permanent and cannot be undone. See the account deletion page for detailed steps.
Your data is stored on Google Cloud/Firebase's secure infrastructure. Passwords are handled entirely by Firebase Authentication and are never stored in plain text by our systems. No system is 100% invulnerable, but we follow standard industry practices to protect your data.
AniTrack is built for a general audience and isn't specifically directed at children. The minimum age to create an account is 13 (or a higher age if required by the law of your country). If we learn we've collected personal data from someone under that age without a proper legal basis, we'll delete it.
Firebase and Google AdMob may process data on servers located outside your country, including the United States, under the safeguards Google provides for international data transfers (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
We may update this policy as the app's functionality changes. We'll update the date at the top of the page, and try to notify you in-app for material changes.
